Cytohistotechnology is a branch of medical laboratory science that focuses on cytology (cells) and histology (tissue) examinations to support the diagnosis of disease, especially cancer and organ disorders. This science includes preparation techniques, staining, and microscopic analysis of cells and tissues, making it an important basis in diagnostic pathology and biomedical research.

The Cytohistotechnology Laboratory in the Medical Laboratory Technology Department of the Ministry of Health Surabaya Polytechnic is designed as a modern practicum space that supports students' skills in:
